Day-to-Day ITINERARY
Stay - Delhi
On the day of arrival at the New Delhi airport, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city's bustling streets or wander its wide tree-lined boulevards to get your first taste of India. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Delhi
Embark on a full day of sightseeing beginning in Old Delhi with a visit to the stunning Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in Asia, and the Raj Ghat, a moving memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Take a short rickshaw ride at the Chandni Chowk (A huge market of spices and clothes), also visit Rashtrapati Bhavan, India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, and Qutub Minar. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Agra
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive towards Agra “City of Taj Mahal”. Upon arrival at Agra, check-in at your hotel. Take some rest at the hotel, later in the afternoon our tour guide will pick you up from the hotel for a guided sightseeing tour of the Itmad-ud-Daulah, and Agra Fort. Rest of the day at leisure, overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Jaipur
Early morning before sunrise our tour guide will pick you up from the hotel and take you for a guided sightseeing tour of the Taj Mahal and Mehtab Bagh. Later return to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Jaipur. On the way visit Akhbar Tomb at Sikandra and later visit Fatehpur Sikri - a UNESCO World Heritage Site, built by Akbar in the late 16th century. It was abandoned after only 14 years, and the elegant buildings of this superb walled city remain intact to this day. After sightseeing at Fatehpur Sikri, proceed to Jaipur for overnight stay.

Stay - Overnight Train
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full day guided tour of Jaipur, visit City Palace, The Hawa Mahal (palace of winds), Jantar Mantar, Amer Fort, Jal Mahal (Water Palace). Later in the evening, our representative will transfer you to Jaipur railway station to board an overnight train to Haridwar. Overnight on board.

Stay - Rishikesh
Early morning arrival at Haridwar, our representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel, later proceed for full day sightseeing of Haridwar, visit Mansa Devi temple, Chandi Devi temple and later in the evening attend Aarti (prayers) on the bank of river Ganges at Har-Ki-Paudi. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for the sightseeing of Rishikesh, visit Neelkanth Mahadev temple, Shri Bharat Mandir, Shatrughana Temple, Laxman Jhoola and Raghunath Temple. Rest of the day free for own leisure activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Many of our travelers join because they are traveling solo. So yes it is absolutely safe to travel solo on this tour. As a solo traveler, you have to pay single supplement charges. Please let us know at time of booking and we’ll arrange the rooming configuration accordingly.
Our tour cost includes personal assistance during arrival and departure, hotel accommodations with breakfast, all transfers, sightseeing and excursions by private air-conditioned car/van/coach depending on a number of persons with as per itinerary, English speaking local guide, all applicable taxes and dedicated manager with 24x7 support. We can also include lunch and dinner, domestic flights, and other services on request at an additional cost.
The check-in and the check-out timings in a majority of the hotels are 1400 hours and the 1200 hours respectively. Early check-in's and late check-out's are subject to availability of the rooms, thus we suggest you to book your room(s) previous night itself if you arriving early then the normal check-in time or if you have a late check-out. Just let us know your arrival and departure timing at the time of booking your tour with us and we will help you in managing your stay for the extra hours.
We provide 3 star comfort hotels in our standard tour packages. However you can always upgrade your accommodations to 4 star hotels or 5 star luxury hotels or charming boutique hotels/heritage palaces or any special hotel of your choice at an additional cost.

One must possess a passport which is valid for minimum 6 months from the date of entry into India. Many countries have been included in the list of countries whose citizens are provided E-Visa facility provided they apply 72 hours in advance. Other nationals need to obtain Indian visa in advance to enter India.

You will be greeted by our representative at the airport on your arrival. He shall be holding a company placard with your name written on it for your identification. We shall also provide you list of emergency 24 hours contact phone numbers for your assistance.

If you are interested in booking any of our brochure tours, you may simply send us an email giving us your details. We normally need an advance amount once we confirm the arrangements for the tour. The amount depends on the services you may require for the tour. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash. We need balance payment before arrival.
We shall do our best to make changes as per your request and shall not charge you anything unless there is penalty charged by hotels etc, for making these changes.

PAYMENT TERMS
Client only requires a deposit of 10% of the total amount of the tour to confirm their booking. The remaining balance is then payable 30 days prior to the departure date. For any tour departing within 30 days the full payment of the tour is necessary. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash. After receiving the payment, a receipt will be sent directly to client's registered email-id and the final tour documentation will be emailed out approximately 1-2 weeks prior to departure.
CANCELLATION
No additional cancellation fees! You can cancel the tour up to 15 days prior to the departure date and you will not need to pay the full amount of you tour, but the deposit of 10% is non-refundable. But, the deposit is fully transferable to your future bookings with Alkof Holidays.
