Tour Highlights

The 2 days Delhi trip is an In-Depth Cultural tour, start and ends in New Delhi - the National Capital of India. In this tour, you will explore many many historical sites in New Delhi and Old Delhi, you will also explore Chandni Chowk (A huge market of spices and Saree's). The tour includes 1 night accommodation, all transfers, sightseeing, and 1 Breakfasts at the hotel.


Day-to-Day Itinerary

Stay - Delhi

Upon arrival, Alkof Holidays representative will pick you up from the New Delhi airport and transfer you to the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel, later proceed sightseeing of New Delhi, visit Qutub Minar, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Rashtrapati Bhavan, India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, and Lotus Temple (Baha'i Temple). Later drive back to the hotel for night stay.

After breakfast, proceed for a full day guided tour of Delhi, visit Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid and Red Fort also take a short rickshaw ride at the Chandni Chowk (A huge market of Spices and Sarees). In the evening visit Akshardham Temple (World's largest temple) and enjoy the Light & Music show at Akshardham Temple. After finishing your sightseeing, our representative will transfer you to New Delhi Airport to board the flight to your home or onward destination.

How to book a trip?

If you are interested in booking any of our brochure tours, you may simply send us an email giving us your details. We normally need an advance amount once we confirm the arrangements for the tour. The amount depends on the services you may require for the tour. This can be paid through bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash. We need balance payment before arrival or as per below schedule.


  • 30 days or more before the date of departure: 25% of the total cost
  • 29 - 20 days before the date of departure: 50% of the total cost
  • 19 - 16 days before the date of departure: 100% of the total cost

Important: The booking stands liable to be cancelled if 100% payment is not received 16 days prior to departure date and received amount will be fully forfeited.

Cancellation

If you cancel your holiday:

You or any member of your party may cancel their travel arrangements at any time. Written notification or an e-mail to that effect from the person who made the booking must be received at our office. The cancellation charges per person applicable are as per the published cancellation policy below:


  • Between 30 - 45 days before the date of departure: 25% of the total cost
  • Between 17 - 29 days before the date of departure: 50% of the total cost
  • Up-to 16 days before the date of departure: 100% of the total cost
If we change or cancel your holiday:

We do plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangements.

  • Photo ID proof.
  • Passport (Only for Foreign Tourists / NRI).
Payment & Collect - Pay the registration amount / full tour price by Cheque, Demand Draft, Online and collect:<

  • Tour itinerary, travel and hotel details (On Email & Hard Copy)
  • Receipt of payment (On Email & Hard Copy)
  • Visa folder for World Tour(s) (Hard Copy)

Note: After the payment is successful, an acknowledgement message is sent to the guest's registered email ID. This message contains the bank details, the amount credited along with the date and place of payment. Many of our travelers join because they are traveling solo. So yes it is absolutely safe to travel solo on this tour. As a solo traveler, you have to pay single supplement charges. Please let us know at time of booking and we’ll arrange the rooming configuration accordingly.
Our tour cost includes personal assistance during arrival and departure, hotel accommodations with breakfast, all transfers, sightseeing and excursions by private air-conditioned car/van/coach depending on a number of persons with as per itinerary, English speaking local guide, all applicable taxes and dedicated manager with 24x7 support. We can also include lunch and dinner, domestic flights, and other services on request at an additional cost.
The normal check-in and check-out timings in a majority of the hotels are 1400 hours and the 1200 hours respectively. Early check-in's and late check-out's are subject to availability of the rooms, thus we suggest you to book your room(s) previous night itself if you arriving early then the normal check-in time or if you have a late check-out. Just let us know your arrival and departure timing at the time of booking your tour with us and we will help you in managing your stay for the extra hours.
We provide 3 star comfort hotels in our standard tour packages. However you can always upgrade your accommodations to 4 star hotels or 5 star luxury hotels or charming boutique hotels/heritage palaces or any special hotel of your choice at an additional cost.
