Stay - Guwahati

On the day of arrival at Guwahati, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. In the evening, enjoy a river cruise in the mighty Brahmaputra River to catch a glimpse of soothing sunset. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Jorhat

After breakfast, leave for Jorhat, also known as the tea capital of India. Upon arrival at Jorhat, check into the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel and In the evening, take a walk around Garh Ali, the main commercial hub of Jorhat town. You can also do some shopping at the little shops famous for North-East Indian fabrics and handicrafts. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Jorhat

After breakfast, drive towards Sivasagar. Sivasagar was the capital of Ahom dynasty, here you visit the remains of Ahom Kingdom. The Ahom dynasty ruled Assam for 600 years before the British took over. Visit the Tai Ahom Museum and the Maidams of Ahom kings, Burial grounds at Charaideo. The other remains of the Ahom Dynasty include man-made artificial lake created by Queen Madambika in 1734, Shivdol-the tallest Shiva temple in the world, palaces of Kareng Ghar & Talatal Ghar and Gaurisagar Tank, along with three temples.

Later in the afternoon, drive back to Jorha. In the evening explore the nearby tea gardens. Also visit the Jorhat Gymkhana club, which was built in 1876 by D. Slimmon. The club holds a lush green 9-hole golf course listed in the "World Heritage Sites" as the oldest golf course in Asia. The club is also famous for horse races and also offers other facilities like lawn tennis grass courts, swimming pool, billiards, polo, gentleman's bar and cinema theater. Stay - Kaziranga National Park

Early in the morning, leave for the Kaziranga National Park via Majuli. Drive to Nimati steamer ghat to embark on ferry for Majuli. Upon reaching, board a Ferry to Majuli. After approximately one and half hours of sailing, and crossing mighty Brahmaputra, you arrive at Majuli Island, the biggest River Island in the world and seat of Vaisnavite monasteries. Later, pay a visit to Satras, the birth place of Vaisnavite culture and also visit the tribal villages. After sightseeing of Majuli, proceed towards Kaziranga National Park. Upon arrival at Kaziranga, check-in at the wildlife resort. Overnight stay at the resort.

Stay - Kaziranga National Park

Early in the morning, enjoy an elephant safari in the western range of the national park. The main attraction of this wildlife park, includes one-horned Rhinoceros, tiger, wild buffalo, elephant, a variety of deer, python, and variety of migratory birds among others. Also spend some quality time at the Donga view point, situated in western zone. After Elephant Safari, drive back to the resort for refreshment. In the afternoon, enjoy a jeep safari inside the Kaziranga national park for wildlife viewing in the central zone. Overnight stay at the resort in Kaziranga National Park.

Stay - Kaziranga National Park

After breakfast, visit the famous plain tea gardens of Assam, Karbi Ethnic village and local model village. In the afternoon, go for a jeep safari at the central range of the national park for another dose of adventure into the jungle. Enjoy rest of the evening at the hotel. Overnight stay at the resort.

Stay - Tezpur

After breakfast, check-out from the resort and drive to Tezpur. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel and later go for a local sightseeing tour of Tezpur, also known, as ‘The City of Blood’. Tezpur, is a place known for it's mythology, legend and folklore. It is situated on the northern bank of River Brahmaputra and it is also blessed with magnificent scenic beauty and exquisite archaeological ruins. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Stay - Guwahati

After breakfast, leave for Guwahati. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel and later go for a local sightseeing tour of Guwahati. Visit the famous Kamakhya Devi Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to the mother goddess Kamakhya. It is one of the oldest of the 51 Shakti Pithas. Situated on the Nilachal Hill in western part of Guwahati. Later, drive back to the hotel for night stay.

After breakfast, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and transfer you to the Guwahati airport to board the flight to your home or onward destination.
