3 Days Buddhist Tour to Varanasi Bodhgaya Rajgir Nalanda From Delhi

Around 06:00 am in the monring, Alkof Holidays representative will pickup you from your hotel or any location in Delhi (Pickup time may vary, as per your flight timing) and transfer you to New Delhi Airport to board a flight to Varanasi from New Delhi Airport. Upon arrival at Varanasi Airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. After refreshing at the hotel, leave for Sarnath at a distance of 12 Kms from Varanasi, where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon after Enlightenment. At Sarnath in the Ganges Valley of India, the Buddha proclaimed the law of faith, covering Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Sarnath Museum and Mulagadha Kuti Vihar. Later visit Bharat Mata temple with a big relief map of India in Marble, also visit Durga temple, and Tulsi Manas Mandir. In the evening visit the Dashashwamedh Ghat to witness the Ganga Aarti. It is the famous attraction of Varanasi in which you can watch interesting rituals performed to please the River Ganges and the God of Fire. Overnight stay at the hotel in Varanasi.

Early in the morning, enjoy a boat ride on the Ganges to see the bathing Ghats (river bank) & cremation site. Sunrise on the riverfront, as seen from a boat, can be a spiritually uplifting sight. Later return to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, leave for Bodhgaya. Upon arrival at Bodhgaya, check-in at the hotel. Later, visit Lord Buddha Temple (Maha Bodhi temple), Bodhi Tree, Buddha Statue, and Janki temple. Overnight stay at the hotel in Bodhgaya.

After breakfast at the hotel, leave for the historical & religious place in central of bihar called Nalanda (90 km away). On the way visit Rajgir, Gridhkuta Peak, at the top of Ratnagiri hill, where Lord Buddha preached many inspiring sermons, here a Peace Pagoda has been built by the Buddha Sangh of Japan. Tour continue with the visit to the Venuvanaram and Bimbisara Prison. Later proceed to Nalanda - visit the ruins of ancient university; The site of Nalanda was one of the greatest monastic universities of the ancient world, the University was established in 5th century BC. It is believed that Lord Buddha, and the founder of Jainism religion Lord Mahavir taught at this university for years. Later drive to Patna airport to board a flight for New Delhi. Upon arrival New Delhi Airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.
